The season stretches from September to May, starting with some Cup Games on a Saturday afternoon in September, the League Games follow from the end of September and League Games are always played on a Sunday afternoon.

On match days, the Reserves (12 a side - no wing-forwards and only 1 winger) play before the First XV match. Almost everything will be familiar except, perhaps, the White Card issued for persistent technical offence - it has the same effect as a Yellow Card (10 minutes in the Bin) but no disciplinary consequences.

Entry is by Season Ticket €100 per season, available via this web-site

info@fctrie.fr or from any of the club’s management committee - or you can pay per game on the door €10. Unlike in the UK, a season ticket covers entry for away matches as well as all home games.

Training commenced first Wednesday in August and (apart from public holidays) it takes place on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 8pm, after which the players all share a hot supper with their Trainers (2 per team - 1 for the forwards + 1 for the backs) and some of the Management Committee.

On home match days there is ample free parking, a choice of grandstands to sit in, as well as a Bar for bacon sandwiches, coffee and other liquid refreshment.

They are a friendly crowd and you will be very welcome no matter what level your French language skills are at.

As an essential part of the local community, FC Trie can be seen providing catering at many of the Trie-sur-Baise Fetes. All committee members are volunteers and would welcome any support, assistance or Sponsorship that you can provide.
